Members of the Post 66 American Legion family (Post,
Auxiliary, Sons of the American Legion, and American Legion Riders) joined
over 130 other groups to participate in the City of Bowie Annual Memorial
Day Parade. The Post float ran the parade route escorted and followed by the
American Legion Riders on their motorcycles, while members of the Post
groups walked the route and handed out over 1,000 American flags to parade
watchers.
After all the judging was completed, the Post 66
contingent was awarded the trophy for the most patriotic group of the day.
