On Friday, March 10, 2006 at 6:00 AM four members of
the Disney-Bell Post 66 ALR (Richard Beckwell, Judy Williams, Sonny Frank
and Steve Williams) joined with members of the ALR of Southern Maryland
District and the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR) at the parking lot of Rip’s
Restaurant in Bowie, Maryland. They formed a group of nine motorcycles
with eleven people total and departed for the 68-mile ride to Westminster,
Maryland where they were joined by 76 others to form the final group for
funeral service and parade to the Veterans Cemetery to honor the sacrifice
of Lance Corporal Matthew Snyder who was killed in Iraq, and to show their
respect to his family.
