The Disney-Bell Post Annual Birthday
Dinner was held on Saturday, March 20, 2004. It is our 77th anniversary and the
American Legion's 86th birthday. The event was free to all members in good
standing of the American Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion.
Always a great event, with a cocktail hour and a good meal followed by a short
program where we installed new members and recognized some others. We were also
joined by our veterans from Charlotte Hall who love to join us for an evening
out.
The Post also presented contribution checks to David Coker
for the Fisher House Foundation and Pete Mellits, Fire Chief for the Bowie
Volunteer Fire Department.
