On Saturday, March 16th, 2002, the Department of Maryland hosted a dinner in honor of National Commander Richard Santos and his wife.

Disney-Bell Post 66 was represented by Commander J.D. Larson and wife Michele, Adjutant James Pritchett and wife Marie, Judge Advocate Charlie Milstead and wife Kathy, and Sgt-at-Arms Les Wicklein and wife Bridget. It was a great evening with cash bar, appetizers, meal, presentations and dancing.

Commander Santos gave a great keynote address speaking on the importance of the changing veteran and our need to address those changes in our recruiting efforts. It was a very entertaining evening for all of use who attended. Take a look at our pictures and maybe you will want to join us next year.
